The word “Virus” really scaring to anyone moreover who is really know about it’s damaging power, specially pendrive virus. If you are not aware about your pendrive virus, then your computer may be in serious trouble. But there are several ways also by which you can easily be safe from this pendrive virus. Now I’m talking about it.
The most one easiest way pendrive virus can attack on your pc by the “autorun.inf” extension. This extension is very much liked by most of the virus!! This extension permits the virus to run automatically, then attack your computer. However to stop this, first go to control panel of your computer, select administrative tools, then component services, then double click on “Services(Local)”. There you can see a vast list of service list. From it find ‘Shell Hardware detection’, then disable/stop it’s function. Now no pendrive that you connect to your pc will no more automatically run.
Another way to protect your computer is to explore pendrive, without opening it double click. For this first go to start menu>all programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer. There you will find your all your programs are showing with folder option. Then click on (+) button left to my computer, then right click on your pendrive, then start scanning with your antivirus!!! Now your loving pc is well protected from various deadly virus!!!

I would like to add that if the "Open With" tab opens when you click on your pendrive then remember, that is also a virus.
