If you are connected with the internet then in windows XP there is an option called windows update. This option will keep telling you to update your computer. And if you agreed with that and give the permission to update then after some update has done, there will be a message in your desktop and your task bar. It says that your computer is not Genuine, buy the genuine version of the Windows. And it also appears in the Windows startup. For stopping this kind of Message you will need to buy the original windows xp from the microsoft webpage. Some of us just can't do that. So there must be some other way.... I get it..!! its called "Windows Genuine validation Remover". The file is only 13.5KB. So if you have this kind of validation problem, then give it a try, it may can solve your problem. but the open source Linux operating systems don't give that much facilities like windows. As for example the gaming software. But if those operating systems have that much options, we definitely leave windows based operating system.
For ur information, gaming company making game i mean high resouleted games for specially windows users(its not a fault of open source)...and after 2013 what u will do as law will get much restricted.....so use open source kik Microsoft...
I'm not sure about what kind of facilities.......
